7IX — Premium

The only level with the full 12 kHz extended bandwidth and automatic echo detection and reduction. Built to track multiple moving speakers in real time, which matters most in restaurants, family gatherings and meetings.

HearAdvisor lab testing recorded roughly a 39-hour claimed runtime and an “A” SoundGrade when professionally programmed for a common mild-to-moderate hearing loss.

Phonak Audéo Infinio Sphere

The same lab reported roughly 16 hours of battery life per charge (less in its Sphere noise mode), and also received an “A” SoundGrade when professionally fit for the same hearing-loss profile.

Both devices performed well when professionally programmed; the biggest gap was in each brand’s out-of-box “initial fit” settings, not the tuned result.
